Prof. Tugen Feng

Biography:
Tugen Feng, Professor of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology/Hohai University, Ph. D., Postdoctoral Fellow. He is a Changjiang Scholar of Ministry of Education, and is currently the Deputy Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Efficient Utilization and Safety of Water Resources. He used to be the director of Geotechnical Engineering Research Institute of Hohai University, etc. He is in charge of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangxi Province Major R&D Special Project (10 million for research and demonstration of key technology of salt cavern pressurized gas energy storage), and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province; and is responsible for the completion of more than 50 major projects of engineering technology development and consulting services. He has published more than 80 papers in Canadian Geotechnical Journal, Journal of Geotechnical Engineering and other famous journals with SCI and EI searches; authorized more than 30 invention patents; and his doctoral dissertation has been awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Jiangsu Province. He has been awarded 3 first-class prizes and 3 second-class prizes of ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards.
Prof. Zhenyu Yin

Biography:
Zhenyu Yin, Professor, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prof. Yin received his Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering from Zhejiang University in 1997, and then worked in Zhejiang Jiahua Architectural Design Co., Ltd. for 5 years. He received his Master's Degree and Ph.D. Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Ecole Centrale Polytechnique de Nantes, France, in 2003 and 2006, respectively (with a joint training program at Tongji University during his Ph.D. period). He was selected as one of the "Oriental Scholars" by Shanghai Municipality in 2011. He is also an associate editor of European Journal of Environment and Civil Engineering (EJECE), Geotechnique Letters, ASCE-IJOM, and an associate editor of Canadian Geotechnical Engineering (Can. Geot. J.), Acta Geotechnica, Transportation Geotechnics, Computers and Geotechnics, GeoRisk, IJNAMG and other journals editorial board; mainly engaged in teaching and research in geotechnics and geotechnical engineering, in recent years, he has published more than 300 SCI papers in international core journals. Prof. Zhenyu Yin's main research interests include: (1) macro and micro properties of soils and constitutive relationships; (2) model testing and numerical analysis of large deformations in geotechnical engineering; (3) application of artificial intelligence in geotechnical engineering.

He undertook the major special research project in Guangdong Province: rectangular pipe jacking and curved pipe curtain concealed excavation construction technology for metro stations; presided over the scientific research of the national Ministry of Housing and Construction technology demonstration project: Zhuhai Xingye Express (North Section). Presided over the completion of a number of difficult pipe jacking projects, such as the first case of ultra-shallow overburden through the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal, through the highway, various types of cross the subway, under the complex pipelines, sand and pebble strata, flat/vertical curves and other rectangular pipe jacking project more than 300 items. The company has overcome a number of large cross-section and long-distance rectangular pipe jacking key technologies, solved a number of major problems in the project, and filled a number of industry gaps.

Jun Teng, professor of the Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, and expert with special allowance from the State Council, presided over 1 national major scientific research instrument development project, 1 key project of the National Science and Technology Support Plan, 1 key special project of the National Research and Development Plan, 1 major project of the National Natural Science Foundation, 2 key projects, and 7 general projects, Participated in one major international (Sino-US) cooperative research project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Main social part-time jobs include the vice chairman of the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering, the executive director and vice chairman of the Professional Committee of Structural Health Monitoring and Anti-vibration Control of the Chinese Society of Vibration Engineering, and the vice chairman of the Editorial Committee of Engineering Seismic and Strengthening and Reconstruction; Members of the National Natural Science Foundation's panel of experts.
